Why did Moon’s AoW get attacked by the Creeps?

In the DreamHack World Finals, Moon’s AoW (Ancient of War) was attacked by the creeps on the map SG (Shallow Grave) in the game vs. Chaemiko, at first he thought it’s his mistake that he built his AoW too closed to the Creeps Camp. And on the next day, Moon’s AoW got attacked again on the same position, which made Moon felt confused.

After asking ESL, the organizer of the DreamHack World Finals, Moon got the replays and the map pack, and he found that the map pack doesn’t indicate the version of the SG.

Moon usually practices on the W3C ladder, and the SG on the Ladder is the new version, while the SG map used in this tournament is the old version. This is the reason caused the attack of the Creeps. Therefore, Moon think this is the mistake of ESL, and he hope ESL could give him an apology.

ESL said they had been using the old version SG all the time.

Afterwards, ESL replied him with an e-mail and said, in the ESL tournament, they had been using old version all the time. However, Moon has never played in ESL Open Cups, he didn’t know which version of SG that ESL was using.

So, Moon went to the ESL website and checked the replays. However, he found that the actual situation was different from the statement in the email from ESL. Whether it’s ESL Open Cups Asia or Europe, there are mixing of old and new versions.

“The organizer may not know that there are two versions of this map, and there are differences in details.”

Moon just hopes ESL can make an apology to the players.

Moon actually isn’t finding an excuse of his loss. In the streaming last night, Moon seriously summed up his mistake and weak point in this tournament. He just hopes ESL can apologize to the players.
