Question (Fly100%) : I will go first, in the show match yesterday, we witnessed that your Random play was incredible and far better than what anyone expected. Thus I would like to ask when did you practice and why were you so good?

Moon: I never practiced for random play per say, sometimes when I play on ladder I do play random. In terms of yesterday’s game my opponent for the solo match up (Th000) was in excellent shape. During the 3v3, all I did was support and follow my teammate and we just won.

Question (Infi): Many fans show interests in your everyday life. Some of them were asking if you have opened a KFC shop. My question is that; do you have long term plans for the future, it can be Warcraft 3, streaming, running a shop, etc. This question can get a little personal so answer to your convenience.

Moon: Me running a fried chicken shop has been a long running meme. I am planning on starting streaming in March, if everything runs smoothly. When the time comes, I will inform everyone over social media.

Question (TH000’s Wife): Oh, I get a question too? Well this question is from a fan on weibo, after winning the WCG Team Championship (this year, with Focus and Fly) what is your future goal?

Moon: I recall that I was with Fly and Focus but I didn’t win the solo Championship.  But thanks to my teammate we won the team Championship. We are good friends and I was happy that we won. I look forward to more team competitions in the future.

Question (Fly100%): I would like to ask a supplementary question. On map EI, we all know that you had quite the disadvantage, to the point that we all thought you were about to lose. How did you come up with the idea of counter push? This was very unexpected, even from an observer perspective. It turned the entire game around, that was very well done.

Moon: The situation at that time was desperate and the idea of counter push just came to me. The idea itself was both sudden and rational. My huntress was low on health, thus it would be better for them to attack the buildings rather than dying to APs.

Quarterfinal – Lawliet vs. FoCuS – Winner: Lawliet

Question (Infi): It was unexpected that you beat FoCuS with a clean sweep of 3-0. Today, especially on the first map you illustrated a new, effective, and unexpected way of playing the keeper first against orc. I would like to ask who have you been practicing with and how did you make so much progress? What do you think about the current Night Elf vs Orc match up?

Lawliet: I came up with this strategy two years ago, the main idea is to get the second attack upgrade quickly and pressure the opponent. In regards to practice, I was sick (stomach virus) so I didn’t deliberately practice this strategy.

Question (Fly100%): We know that you have been learning Chinese,  I would like to ask how your Chinese skills are? Previously I was able to communicate with you using simple Chinese.

Lawliet: Sorry, my Chinese isn’t great (this was in fluent Chinese with minimal accent)

Question (Fly100%): In your next match up, you will face another Night Elf player from Korea, ie Moon. How do you feel about this match? Do you have confidence? What do you think the score will be?

Lawliet: No, I don’t have confidence. (again fluent Chinese) I feel that NE mirror is my worst match up, I think the score will be 1-3 with Moon winning. I wonder who pulled my name out of the hat to be in this group. (Korean)

Question (Infi): On the first map, NI, your third hero, POTM, went for scout owl first rather than Trueshot Aura, was this a decision or a mistake? 

Lawliet: It was not a mistake. Knowing that he has a witch doctor, he will have Sentry Wards placed. Also I think my chance of winning is hero kill so went scout owl first.
