Semifinal – Moon vs. Lawliet – Winner: Lawliet

Question (Infi): First of all, I would like to congratulate you on your win. I think your performance was beyond what everyone expected. After all, the statistics suggest that Moon was the favorite. I would like to ask for your opinion on your performance today. Would you be more confident when you play against Moon in the future?

Lawliet: I feel that my victory today was backed by my item drop. I was certainly more lucky. For my last map, I specifically went for Keeper first as a counter strategy. I feel that the DH Kog combo is more reliable as well. If my item drop remains favorable, I think I can win in the future as well.

Question (Infi): I think that you are being very modest. I would like to ask, may viewers can see that you have these stepping stairs by your bed, what is that for?

Lawliet: Once a while I actually uses it, but it’s actually for my dog. My dog has gotten old and lost its ability to just leap on to my bed, thus I got him stairs.

Fly100%: Very touching. I can relate, I have pets of my own

Question (Fly100%): A big congratulation to you. For the past year your match up against Moon typically does not end well but not this time. On Amazonia you were at a disadvantage but you were able to make a comeback. In your recent play you featured a lot of orb of venom usage. I would like to ask for your opinion on item effect stacking.

Lawliet: My thought process is that; Moon likes his dryad plays, thus I felt necessary for me to lower their health bar with orb of venom so my bears would have an easier time. However orb of venom itself is expensive so the situation should be evaluated. Right now I still don’t have a clear picture. For today’s instance, the effect could be aided by my item drops. This is still in its development stages.

Fly100%: It certainly looks promising right now, congrats.

Question (TH000): Your performances in this invitational is marvelous, whether you are against Focus or Moon. I would like to ask that if you think that you are having a good day or have you made improvements in your game play? I personally think that you have once again made a great improvement. So what’s your thoughts? How do you adjust? Do you have confidence in winning?

Lawliet: In my practices against Moon and Focus recently, my losses are greater than my victories. Thus I think that item drops are important this time. Overall I feel it’s evenly matched. I don’t particularly feel an improvement in my game play. Considering that Infi, Fly, and Th000 did not participate this time, it would be even harder for me to evaluate my game play. Regarding me winning, it would be hard to say but I will try my best.

Question (Fly100%): Again congratulations, I would like to make an additional question. What’s your thoughts on the next game? Who do you think will win? Who do you prefer to face?

Lawliet: Actually, before the game, I had dinner with Sok. We were talking about if we should go to church and pray for good item drops. Me personally I think that Lyn has a better chance of winning. No matter who advances, I will be prepared and try my best.

Fly100%: Thank you Lawliet, hope that you perform well in the coming match.

Lawliet: Thank you.

Semifinal – Sok vs. Lyn – Winner: Sok

Question (Infi): First of all, big congratulations on your 3-0 victory against Lyn. I feel that Lawliet and Sok both have extraordinary performances. To my knowledge, you two are roommates? How do you two help each other? For the past two years you two had great improvements. Does living together help?

Sok: We were roommates, around three years ago. Now we live at different places but we are still close to each other. This allows us to help each other more.

Question (Infi): Your next opponent is Lawliet. What’s the odds according to your practice? How do you feel about the finals?

Sok: Against Lawliet, I tend to lose more. I recall that I got 3-0 before and won a few Bo1. Overall I think I can take two or three maps for every ten. I will try my best for this finals.

Question (Fly100%): You said that Lyn would be the harder opponent to face yesterday, yet you won 3-0 today. In your opinion, what was the key to your victory? In my perspective, Lyn is an incredible  Orc vs. Human player yet you bested him 3-0.

Sok: I felt that item drops are quite influential, especially in the early game. Today the luck was certainly on my side and that allowed me to have good early games.

Question (TH000): Infi previously predicted that the future stars of the four races are Lawliet, Sok, Hitman, and 120. What are your thoughts about this? Are you confident in becoming the leader of Human race?

Sok: Thank you, I think I made some improvement for the past two years. This is, of course, learning from other Human players. For example, veterans like Th000 and Infi, I study their game play with great attention. However they haven’t been playing Human as much before, thus I appear to be better in relative perspective.

Question (Fly100%):I know that you and Lawliet got dinner together before the game. I am curious what you guys get?
(TH000): Can you provide some details about praying for good items as well?

Sok: Yes, we had meat for dinner and I felt that it boosted my performance. I don’t personally go to Church but my mother does. She usually tells me to pray before I compete, but I don’t. Perhaps she has been praying for me and that helped with recent wins.

Fly: Thank you Sok for the interview, hope that you perform well in the final.

Sok: Thank you.
