This is the week of the WGL August qualifier!

Today is the first day of WGL qualifier, and we will have Open Division, Group A and B. Here is the brackets today!

The first three rounds of these brackets will play today, and the later rounds will play at 28th Aug. The full schedule and other information are in the following part, please take a look!

System and Format

• Group Stage 1
  Double Elimination and Bo3, top 2 advance to Group Stage 2.
• Group Stage 2 (aka Round of 8)
  Double Elimination and Bo3, top 2 advance to the Playoffs.
• Playoffs (aka the Top 4)
  Single Elimination and Bo5, no match for third.

W-League: Solution of XlorD’s retirement.

After a discussion, the organizers decided to not give the slot to another player. Instead they will let the three losers in Round 1 to have a battle against each other. At last, two of them will advance to Round 3, and one will get drop.

Here is the new details.

Play Day 3, 31st August: Round 2

• 17:00 CEST: Match 1 – ThorZaiN vs. SyDe
• 18:30 CEST: Match 2 – Cash vs. Loser of Match 1
• 20:00 CEST: Match 3 – Cash vs. Winner of Match 1
• Match 3 is only required if Cash loses Match 2.
  

Play Day 4, 7th September: Round 2

• 17:00 CEST: Match 4 – Happy vs. HawK
• 18:30 CEST: Match 5 – Sonik vs. Spiral
