The WGL Monthly Qualifier of August, which held and organized by NetEase and Blizzard has been open for SIGN UP. And the deadline is on 18th Aug 2020.

Also, this tournament is hosting only the 1v1 games. At the same time, the players with more points will have higher priority to play in tournament.

• Group Stage 1
  • Four Groups.
    • Open Div.: Each group includes 8 players.
    • Pro. Div.: Each group includes 4 players.
  • Double Elimination.
  • All Bo3.
  • Top 2 of each group advance to Group Stage 2.
• Group Stage 2 (aka Round of 8)
  • Two Groups.
  • Double Elimination.
  • All Bo3.
  • Top 2 of each group advance to the Playoffs.
• Playoffs
  • Single Elimination.
  • All Bo5.

• Turtle Rock
  • (Twisted Meadows is the most banned map in WGL Summer 2020, so the organizer choose to use Turtle Rock instead of Twisted Meadows.)

Race

• Every player is able to use different race in a series, but the player has to give the list to the referee before VETO.
• For example:
  • Amazonia – HUM
  • Concealed Hill – HUM
  • EchoIsles – ORC
  • LastRefuge – ORC
  • Nothern Isles – UD
  • TerenasStand LV- UD
  • Turtle Rock – NE
• Or you can just say you will use ALL HUM.

Notice

To avoid any registration failure, the players have to confirm their information when registering the game. After submitting the registration, please keep your mobile phone on. Then, our customer service will call you to confirm with the order of the points, until all of the 32 slots are confirmed. The organizer will also review the accounts of all players, if they found any violation, they will disqualify the player and the empty slot will be replaced from the registered players in the order of the points.

After all the information are confirmed, we will announce the match up and schedule. By the time, all players will be our official group chat on QQ. The referee will be responsible for check-in and tournaments according to the published match up and schedule.

Note: The match-ups are arranged by the official. The players are required to check-in on time. If some player doesn’t check-in on time, he will be deemed as forfeiting the game.

About WGL Monthly Qualifier

The WGL Monthly Qualifier is designed to select the players of WGL Winter 2020. From August to October 2020, there will be 3 Monthly Qualifiers. And each qualifiers include Open and Pro Divisions.

In the first Monthly Qualifier (August), the top 16 players on the ranking on Ladder (22nd Jul to 20th Aug 2020) will be selected to the Pro Division. In the next qualifiers, the last 4 players in Pro Division will get dropped into Open Division; and the top 4 players in the Open Division will advance to the Pro Division in next month.

For the Open Division, it will open for 32 players. The players need to register themselves, at the same time, the players with more points will have higher priority.
