In 2020, the new season of WGL Warcraft III will follow the previous format and divide into two parts: The Points System and The Offline Event.

In the Points System, players can earn Points by participating in the Monthly Qualifier; and getting into top 100 on NetEase Ladder. The Points are the main way for players to qualify to the Offline Event.

The top Warcraft players around the world will gather into the Offline Event and compete for huge Prizes and the big Title of the Warcraft III.

How to earn Points?

WGL Monthly Qualifier

The qualifier will divide to two part: Pro Division and Open Division.

• We will have THREE monthly qualifier in this Season.
• Pro Division:
  • 16 players.
  • For the first qualifier, the organizer will choose from the Ladder (22nd Feb to 20th Mar).
  • After that, the last four players will get dropped to Open Div., and the top 4 of the Open Div. players will advance to the Pro Div.
• Open Division:
  • 32 players.
  • Players have to SIGN UP.
  • The players with higher points will have the higher priority to get the slots.
• SIGN UP:
  • For the first qualifier, the registration will open from 13th – 17th Mar.
  • It will open at 12:00 CST 13th Mar (05:00 CET / 07:00 MSK).

Offline Event: WGL Summer 2020!

• Schedule: June (Not confirmed yet).
• Slots Allotment:
  • 6 Chinese
  • 6 Korean
  • 2 Europeans+Americans
  • 2 for Wild Card Qualifier
• Chinese and Korean will advance to Offline by the Points System.
• For the Europeans and Americans, the Top 2 of ESL Jonkoping will get the slots.
• Wild Card Qualifier will open for players to SIGN UP, and the Top 2 will advance to the Offline.
