WGL Winter 2019, also called as E-sports Shanghai Masters will start on 23rd November. The event is organized by NetEase and Blizzard. In order to attract more players to join the E-sports stage of Warcraft III, WGL increased the slots and the Prize Pool. During the event, there will be 20 top players from Europe, America, South Korea and China to compete fiercely for the Championship and Prize of total 500,000 RMB.
WGL Winter qualification
The WGL will gather 20 players, including 3 Europeans, 1 Americans, 8 Koreans and 8 Chinese.
Chinese and Korean players will receive the tickets for WGL Winter based on the ranking of WGL points system, while the European and American players will get direct invitation. Here are the invited players are:
The Champion, Happy: Happy has shown us his strong dominance in WGL Summer in this year, defeating FoCuS, Lawliet, TH000 and Moon to win the championship! Can he be the first foreign player to defend the title in WGL?
The Ukrainian boxing champion Foggy: He is the top European player on WGL Points system, one year ago, he lost to Moon on the stage of WGL Grand Final. Can he go further and prove his strength in this time?
