I’ve been practicing quite a bit the past few months and during regular practice I feel like I improved a lot. Yet, I feel like during the tournaments I am never able to play to my full potential – basically, whenever it’s a tournament, my game mentality is just off.
In the early game, I am always able to get an advantage, but then I don’t really think about how to utilize it well. I treat it like the same as playing ladder where I casually just play and am able to win. So then the early game advantage is just gone and has now turned into being behind where my game mentality is prone to even more issues. I start playing really impatiently, having no way to calm myself down and unable think of a way to make a comeback.
As the New Years Cup has concluded, there are no more games this year and 2019 has been a really unsuccessful year for me in Warcraft. Yet, in this next year, I will still continuing practicing just as much as before – and of course, most importantly, I will continue to work on and adjust my game mentality during tournaments.
In 2019, I may have let everybody down – but in 2020, I absolutely will not disappoint you all!!
