Quarterfinal – Sok vs. Fortitude – Winner: Sok

Question (Infi): First of all, congratulations on winning against Fortitude and advancing to the semi finals. You had a great performance which led you to victory. Looking at the statistics, your Human mirror against Fortitude is actually non-optimal. What are your thoughts on your victory today? Can you compare yourself and Fortitude as new coming stars of the human race?Can you comment on the difference of understanding warcraft 3? Who do you think is the better player?

Sok: In my opinion, Fortitude is an incredible player who has an excellent human mirror play. I have played against him and lost before. Since it’s a mirror match up, item drops are quite influential and I feel luck today. I know Fortitude is a hard working player and I hope there is a bright future for us to come.

Question (Fly100%): I am rather curious that every time I meet him, he has a cap on. I would like to know how many caps do you have.

Sok: I have a few more caps back at home. In total I think I have around thirty caps. I stopped buying them around two years ago. Now I rotate between five of them.

Fly100%: For those Sok fans out there, if you want to prepare gifts for him, caps would be a thought.

Question (TH000): From the beginning of last year, your performance against 120 has been rather favorable. Would you look forward to facing him? Are you confident regarding reaching the finals or winning this invitational?

Sok: Yes my next opponent would either be Lyn or 120. I feel that facing Lyn would be more difficult thus I would prefer 120. Considering his recent game play, often with CL first, I would need to be vigilant regarding his hero choices. This would allow me to counter act accordingly. I can’t afford to be careless against him.

Quarterfinal – Lyn vs 120 Winner: Lyn

Question (Infi): First of all, congratulations on advancing to the semi finals. I think that recently CL first against Orc aren’t working that well. I would like to know your thoughts on Orc vs Undead. Which side is more favorable? Any prediction on if this would change ?

Lyn: Yes, I feel that it got easier after CL got nerfed. We can see that Focus’s FL second has been working great and there is a lot to learn from. In this matchup, item drop is very important.

Question (Fly100%): The last two maps today were quite close. Especially the last map, I considered you to be on the verge of losing yet you were able to make a comeback. I would like to ask how did you think of using wyvern(with tier 3 upgrade) on CH, despite the fact that you had no expansion.

Lyn: Considering that I lost the second map, I felt that 120 is quite competent with dealing against Headhunters. Thus I adjusted. Also getting an expansion would be nice but without it, I went creeping and got my hero levels up. This would provide me with more favorable outcomes in the fight.

Fly100%: I am going to try that next time!

Question (TH000): I would like to ask for your opinion on the random hero, random race game play. And if you were to choose, who would you prefer to play against?

Lyn: I recall that I recommended this game play to a cup before. I lost quite a bit back in the days. With that in mind, I would rather play against fly than infi and TH.

Question (TH000): There are a lot of viewers that would like to know the decision making behind level three Chain Lighting or wolf summoning. Some of them are of the opinion that level three Wolves would be better in the last two maps against 120. What are your thoughts after the fact?

Lyn: This is a relative question. For example, in my situation I felt that I had enough ground units thus the difference of wolf summons are less than that of chain lighting. Overall I feel that Chain lighting is more effective since it allows for more hero kill opportunities.

Question (Fly100%): Since the line up for this semi finals are determined, who do you think is the hardest opponent for you?

Lyn: It’s very difficult to say. Everything seems to run smoothly in practice but in competition, there are small issues here and there in my Orc vs Night Elf match up. Thus no matter its Moon or Lawliet, it would be difficult. Maybe Moon? Maybe I would lose to Sok?

(Fly100% voices his disbelief and praises Lyn’s ability against Human)

Lyn: No, you guys have been exaggerating it. My Orc vs Human is average.
