The commentators are always a crucial and important part in an e-sports competition. Most of the time, they use professional vocabularies to deepen the audiences’ understanding of the situation. Meanwhile, they also use their passion and shout to let the audiences getting excited and nervous.
In WCG Xi’an 2019, which is back on the stage after 7 years, we will have five Chinese and four Foreign casters with good-looking and skillful strength casting Warcraft III for us.
Let’s take a look who they are.
Sky
Li Xiaofeng, also known as 盖哥(Sky Bro), 天王(The King). When we are talking about Sky, we will always mention his great career in WCG, the 2 consecutive titles. At the same time, his performance is very important for his career, his company, and also the development of China’s e-sports. Currently, Sky has become a benchmark for the Chinese e-sports industry!
In the WCG Xi’an 2019, he will become a commentator, and cast the games by the younger generation and also his old opponents. We believe he will show us a different perspective and understanding of the games.
Q jiang
Q jiang has always been known for her hard work and playfulness. She has injected a long-lost glamour for the big family of Warcraft III.
Although she is young, she mastered a lot of knowledge of this 17-years-old game in a short time. From the macro, units restraint, tactical operations, to the details like the calculation of Mana, the timing of using items, etc.. Previously, Q jiang has shown us that how good she is, and we look forward to the future of Q Jiang.
LP.Colorful
LP.Colorful, he is also known as “彩色”(Colorful). Although Colorful is a professional player, but there are many audiences love to say that he was actually a “comedian”. Whether he is streaming, or he is casting in a tournament, Colorful always uses his witty style to bring a different kind of fun to the audience.

Qiao Lin

ToD
One of the most influential Warcraft III players in the word. He was called “the three greatest Human” in the past, with Insomnia and Sky.
In the history of WCG, ToD has also won second, third and fourth places. At the same time, he also created many human strategies that have been using until now. It is exciting to see this veteran player reappear on the stage of the WCG.
Rotterdam
Rotterdam was one of the top players in the Warcraft III in the Netherlands, and he also switched to StarCraft II. Currently, Rotterdam has become a professional and well-known StarCraft II commentator,and for this time, he will appear with ToD in WCG 2019 on the stage of commentary.
Remo
An European Warcraft III commentator, and also an e-sports player. Currently, he is one of the most influential caster in European Warcraft III.
Neo
An European Warcraft III professional commentator, currently, he is one of the most influential caster in European Warcraft III. He will cast the games with Remo in the WCG 2019 Warcraft III.

Format
Please allow us to mention again the format with EWCL.
- A1 vs B1 (1vs1, Bo2),
- A2 vs B2 (1vs1, Bo2)
- A3 vs B3 (1vs1, Bo2)
- A4 vs B4 (1vs1, Bo3)
- A 2v2 team vs B 2v2 team (2vs2, Bo2)
For Bo3, the winner will get 2 points and the loser will score 0 points, whether it is 2-0 or 2-1. And for Bo2, the winner will score 2 points, if the game is tied (1-1), both of the players get 1 point for their them.
After those five games, the team with more points wins the series. The winner team gets 3 points(series), and the loser team gets 0 points(series). If it’s tied (5-5), both teams get 1 point (series).
