RW.Infi vs Newbee.Lawliet

The first game came to NI. In early game, Lawliet got a Greater Mana Potion, but the Warden used her TP and the potion for very few profits, at the same time, Infi built up his expansion successfully. After that, Lawliet chose Tinker second. It’s surprising choice and the Tinker also made some kills, meanwhile, Lawliet kept his expansion in safe.

However, Infi went for a Tower Push on Lawliet’s expansion before Lawliet completed the Tier 3 upgrade, without the Tier 3 Bears, Lawliet failed to hold his expansion. With the advantage of economy, Infi broke his upkeep to almost 100 supply, and Lawliet couldn’t withstand in the direct fight, at last, Lawliet typed out GG.

The Warden was shining in game 2 and game 3.

And the second game we came to EI. In the early game, Lawliet tried to expand immediately, unfortunately, Infi found out that and cancel it. But Lawliet wasn’t not giving up, he was playing even more risky but better afterwards. The Warden teleport into Infi base and kept killing the Peasants, and, when Infi was attacking his expansion, he gave up it and went to leveling to 5. At the last fight, the high level Warden was so scary to the Human army, after double killed the Human heroes, Lawliet won the second game.

It’s a Warden showtime again in game 3 on TS. With the good scouting, Lawliet knew Infi was creeping the Laboratory, and Lawliet went to creep jack. The creep jack might be the most important move of the game. After that, Lawliet bought a Zeppelin and went to harass Infi main base and expansion, at the same time, Infi could only hold around the base. When the Warden reached level 6, the Human army was being killed and Infi could only typed out GG.

LP.FoCuS vs mTw.Cash

Seems like Cash didn’t feel confident to play against FoCuS in Orc mirror, so he switched to play with Human. In the first game on CH, although Cash succeeded to cancel two Burrows, his also wasted the so much HP and Mana, so the Archmage couldn’t hold the advantage he got. At the same time, FoCuS came back in the game slowly, and his heroes were leveling so well. At the last fight, the Human had no change and Cash called out GG at last.

The game 2 on EI was so similar to game 1, even worse for Cash. In the opening, the Human lost many footmen for only canceling a single Burrow. At the last fight, FoCuS heroes had the better level, and he killed many units with this advantage. After the long fight, FoCuS heroes were level 5 and 5, and Cash had only level 4 and 3. Cash had no chance and typed out GG.

RW.Fly100% vs WNS.Chaemiko

On the first map of LR, a few creep jacks let Chaemiko being in a huge disadvantage. Even though he came back so much with the good item and good direct fight, it’s not enough to come back in the game. After that, Fly expanded and he could just stay beside his expansion, Chaemiko had no choice and went to fight. At last, Chaemiko lost his MK and typed out GG.

For the second game, I think the expansion in the middle game was so important. Fly sent his BM to go to harass Chaemiko’s expansion, and Chaemiko used his buildings to lock the BM. At the same time, he let his first hero, the MK kept leveling, and went to creep jack, killed the SH. At the last fight, the level 5 MK was just too strong for the Orc, Fly could do nothing and he called out GG.

The third game on EI…But…What was Fly100% doing?

I really don’t know how to comment about the third game. When Chaemiko went to steal the creep camp beside the Gold Mine that near Fly’s base, the BM was just beside, and the BM did nothing. We understood that Fly might be focusing on his base, but this let the Archmage reached level 3 very soon! Even worse, Chaemiko went to Tower Push immediately, and Fly had no ability to hold it. After that, Fly called out GG, and Chaemiko advanced to the Top 8.

Newbee.Lyn vs WNS.Sok

In the first game on AZ, Lyn went for Far Seer first and he made a good harassment in Sok’s base, and he also kept the Archmage in low level. Then, in the following fights, the Far Seer and TC were always being higher level than the Archmage and MK, Lyn also made his advantage bigger and bigger. At last, the Human army were too weak against the double level 5 heroes, Sok called out GG.

New opening by Sok.

On the second map of EI, Sok went to creep the Murloc camp first, it’s very different and interesting opening. Therefore, the Archmage became level 3 very fast and Sok also chose Blood Mage second. After that, Lyn made a big mistake, his SH got surrounded, and when he used his BM to pop out the SH, his BM had no Mana and got killed! Sok went to Tower Push immediately, and Lyn couldn’t hold it and typed out GG.

In the third game on LR, there were some small harassment, small fights, but all of them were not really important. Until a creep jack, before Lyn started the red camp on the top left, Sok sent an invisible Footman to wait beside there. When Lyn reached there, Sok army went to there immediately, and the invisible MK and Footman were reached beside the Ogre Lord. The most important was coming, the MK used the Thunder Clap to steal the experiences, and the Footman with Backpack stole the item! At the same time, the BM wasn’t there, and the Human kept chasing the Orcs. After the fight, the Orc got a heavy loss and Lyn typed out GG.

The Brackets of WGL Summer 2019 Round of 8.

At the same time, we are very happy Sky was here to draw the brackets!
