Yule Cup is starting soon, who is the King of the Hill today?
The tournament will start at 19:00 CST (UTC+8), and here is the format of this Yule Cup.
Format
Generally, we will have seven Bo1 games a day by the selected eight players (2 players from each race).
On the first day, we will randomly select a player as the “Reigning Champion”, and he will choose a challenger to play.
- If the challenger wins, the player will receive a reward of 500 yuan. At the same time, he will become the new Champion, and he needs to select the next challenger to play;
- If the Reigning Champion wins, he will receive a reward of 500 yuan. After that, he needs to choose the next challenger and continue playing;
The winner of the last Bo1 will receive an additional 500 yuan, which means he will get 1,000 yuan. Meanwhile, he will become the Reigning Champion and he will continue playing in the next day

The map will be picked by the challenger, but he can’t pick the map that has already selected in the previous rounds.

Format
The whole European Qualifier will have two phase, Prelims and main Qualifier.
- In Prelims, the organizer invited 8 players to play with Double Elimination, Bo3 in two Groups of 4.
- The Top 2 of each Group will advance to the Main Qualifier.
- We will have 8 players in Main Qualifier, 4 of them are directly invited by organizer, 4 of them advance from the Prelims.
- In the Main Qualifier, we will have Group Stage and Playoffs.
- The Group Stage will play with Bo5 and Swiss Format.
- The Top 4 will advance to the Playoffs.
- The Playoffs will play with Bo5 and Single Elimination, and the winner will advance to the offline event in China.
