The feeling of winning a championship is very simple, I am very happy.
Q: First of all, congratulations to you for winning the WGL Summer without losing a series. After the game, when you talked about winning the first WGL in 2016, sounded like you were sad. What was your feeling at that time?
Infi: Actually, I was not. I was probably organizing sentences at the time. Although it has been a long time, but I still feel like it happened only yesterday.
Q: Are there any different feelings between winning this WGL and the WCG in Xi’an last year?
Infi: After all, I was playing this WGL at home, it can’t be compared with holding the cup on the scene. However, the feeling of winning a championship is very simple, I am very happy.

Q: You beat TH000 in these two finals (WGL Summer 2020 and WCG 2019 Xi’an). How do you evaluate his performance this time?
Infi: I streamed and watched the replays yesterday. Generally, I also had the advantage of my schedule, I took a longer break. In this finals, I will give him about 6/10 points, and 8/10 points to myself.
Q: In the post-game interview, you mentioned that this championship is inseparable from the helps of many practice partners, so what targeted training did you do before the game?
Infi: My preparations started about one week before the game, my training was mainly targeting the KOTG Metas, and the Far Seer+Tauren Chieftain Metas nowadays. Apart from them, I also prepared a few tactics against the Undead.
Q: In the group stage, you used 8 TPs in the game against Fly. The audiences laughed on it and said this is the “500,000 RMB play”. After watching the replay, do you think you were playing too safe, or it’s the right call?
Infi: I would said both are right. In practice, I found that if you don’t have an Invulnerability Potion in a fight against Orcs on the field (far from base), you would probably have a bad trade, especially after the Kodos Devour your Breakers. So, as a Human, we can’t easily go for a fight. As long as the game go long, with level 5 MK, the Human will have an advantage against the Orcs. In the future games, I believe the other Human players will also follow this play-style.

The Crypt Lord first meta by XlorD.
Q: XlorD’s Crypt Lord first meta was a big highlight in this event, but the other top Undead like 120 did not include Crypt Lord first Meta into their pocket strategies. What do you think of the positioning of this hero?
Infi: Crypt Lord is an extremely versatile hero, he is fully qualified for the position of the Undead first hero. In the current Undead mirror, Crypt Lord first meta are undoubtedly the “main” strategies.
But in other matches-up, but I am not looking forward about Crypt Lord’s potential against the other three races. Sure, you can use it to play against the Human, but it is not necessary at all. On the other hand, in the fight against the Night Elf and the Orcs, this meta cannot be used as a main tactic at all.
Previously, I rated 120 for his strategy. He is not a player with a good ability to write a homework. However, if other players develop Crypt Lord first meta, I believe 120 will go to improve it and make it perfect, but XlorD currently does not make it (perfect).

Q: Some people say that you need to thank Moon and Lawliet for defeating 120 and Lyn for you. In terms of your shape of this game, if you met 120 or Lyn in the Playoffs, how much chance do you have?
Infi: The match against Lawliet in the Semifinals was very difficult for me. You might not believe me, but compared to 120 and Lyn, I don’t think I had a bigger chance in playing against Lawliet, I don’t think they are the harder opponent than Lawliet.
I’m not very clear about balance, you should ask the leaders from different races, like Moon, ToD, Lyn, and Happy.
Q: According to the recent tournaments, some people have concluded a big cycle of Warcraft: Night Elves > Orcs, Orcs > Undead, Undead > Human, and Human > Night Elves. Do you think this statement is valid? Which is the most unbalanced match-up right now?
Infi: Say whatever you want, I’m very easy-going now, and I can accept all your opinions! I’m not very clear about balance, you should ask the leaders from different races, like Moon, ToD, Lyn, and Happy.
Q: Some people will definitely feel uncomfortable when they see “Great Happiness” and “Great Disappointment” on the comments. Are you already “immune” about these comments now?
Infi: You may not believe it. I feel nothing on it now. I think it has become a memes. At first, I felt angry, like if you are walking on the road, and occasionally there is a wild dog “shouting” at you, you would definitely feel uncomfortable. So I think some new ideas are needed, and I believe their ability, perseverance and potential! Love you guys! Good luck!

Infi: According to the current situation, it is not a big problem to play until 60 years old, but the premise is that, we need the overall environment maintains like now, and we need to maintain a high enough competitive enthusiasm and desire to win, then we should be able to continue playing.
Q: You only participated in the WGL in the first half of this year. Previously, you said that you are even considering to not participate in the WGL Winter 2020. Do you still plan to do that now?
Infi: When I was analyzing the games recently, the audiences always ask questions, and the words are full of desire and appeal. I can see their blushing cheeks through my dark monitor and network cable, so I think I will take part in the WGL Winter in the second half of the year!
